CoDWaW hooking problems.

you will not be able to get ANY of the CoDWaW codes to work unless you use Gecko OS 1.9 AND use the OSSleepThread hook.

This can be forced for this game only by adding a "gameconfig.txt" at the root of the SD card that contains the lines:

RVY?52:
hooktype = 6

That will solve all problems. Don't say my codes don't work because they do. All of them :|

Do Gecko OS 1.7b checks for gameconfig.txt?

hetoan, is it possible to incorporate what you stated with GeckoOS 1.9 and use it with USB Loaders?

no. Gecko 1.9 is closed sourced and the hook type OSSleepThread is ONLY available in Gecko 1.8 and higher.

If you own the disk pull it out. If you don't you obviously have an ISO so go burn a copy and use cIOSCORP to load your pirated game w/ the new hook :|

whatif you send your wii to nintendo and fork out 50 bucks for a new disk slot?

they cant do anything to your wii if you pay for it, PLUS if they refuse to repair it they send it back free of charge.

Hey, is there any other way to play backup games in Gecko 1.9.1?

I have read that cIOSCORP is very dangerous and it's permanent.

Is there any other way to patch the IOS temporaly?

Can this work?

If not to all, then is there any other way you know?

no, cBoot2 is probably more dangerous...

Just install cIOSCORP because it really isn't a big deal if you have bootmii :|

Do the original disks will still be reading at the same speed, or they will slow down to a 3x read speed like the backups?

Also, is there any way to uninstall cIOSCORP if i wanted to?

ok w8. So i set the hook in gecko to OSSleepthread and i put the gameconfig file in the root and thats it? I can just run it and it will work fine? I have gecko 1.9.01 and i only have the homebrew channel installed, no bootmii or anything

Hello, first of I want to thank for all your hard work on these codes. Second, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the codes to run. I've converted the text file into the Gecko cheat format and I've also set up the gameconfig.txt, yet none of the codes seem to be working. Any ideas why?
